Welcome to our home pages. We are Heidi and Jussi Ruuhimäki. We live in countryside south-west of Finland, town called Kankaanpää, 50km from seaside town Pori. 275 km from Helsinki the capital of Finland.
We have our own house in 2ha fenced yard.
We have four children, between 3 and 13 years, two girls and two boys.
We had our kennel name Ruuhinevan 2008. We breed Germany huntingterriers and Australian shepherds.
We also have Englishspringerspaniel, Finnish hound and German Pointer.
We are members of: Finnish Kennel Club, Finnish Germany Huntingterrier association and Satakunnan gundog association as well.
Our hobbies relate to dogs. We both hunt and our hunting dogs go to hunt tests like: earthdog test and fieldtest and gundog working test. We do some tracking and all our dogs participate to shows now and then.
We started a boarding kennel 2007 called Haukunvahti (free translation: “bark guard”) and we take care of our hometowns lost animals, mostly cats and dogs.
